Collection: Antoine Bouvet

Antoine Bouvet is the most experienced of the young generation that is shaking up the codes of Champagne . Antoine inherited his passion for vines from his grandfather Guy, who founded his own estate in the 1970s, composed of plots spread across the communes of Avenay Val d'Or, Bisseuil and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ.

From 2011, Antoine learned the winemaking trade from his grandfather, a passionate winemaker. In 2013, at just 17 years old, Antoine took over the estate, under his grandfather's watchful eye until 2016. The labels on his champagnes tell this beautiful story of passing down the tradition.

From the very beginning, Antoine imprinted his style, seeking to minimize intervention in the vineyard and the cellar. Today, his vines are over 40 years old , fully expressing the chalky soils in which their roots are planted.

We visited Antoine in November 2023, he had just welcomed his kunekune pigs which eliminate weeds and turn over the soil between the rows of vines in winter.

His winery impressed us with its many plots, his clear juices are incredibly accurate and vibrant, they transported us to the Jura region.

For ten years now, we have consistently appreciated the precision and vinosity of his champagnes with each vintage. After a few months in the cellar, his champagnes reveal themselves to be both precise and delicious.
