Refund policy

For any order placed online through the Site, the Customer has fourteen (14) days from receipt of the order to exercise the right of withdrawal, without having to provide any reason or pay any penalty. For an order collected directly from French Theory, this period begins on the date of collection.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must inform French Theory of the decision before the end of this period, notably by email at info@frenchtheory.com or by using the functionality provided for this purpose on the Site.

The products must then be returned no later than fourteen (14) days after notification of the withdrawal to the following address:

Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer.

Products must be returned with care, properly protected and in a condition that allows them to be resold. In particular, bottles must be unopened, with no alteration to their cork, capsule, wax seal or other closure.

The Customer is responsible for any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the products. Any such loss in value may result in a corresponding reduction in the amount refunded.

In the event of withdrawal, French Theory will refund the price of the returned products as well as the initial delivery costs, up to the cost of the standard delivery method offered when the order was placed. Any additional costs resulting from the Customer’s choice of a more expensive delivery method will not be refunded.

The refund will be made no later than fourteen (14) days after notification of the withdrawal, using the same payment method as that used for the original order, unless otherwise agreed with the Customer.

French Theory may withhold the refund until the returned products have been received or until the Customer provides proof that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
