Alexander Bain

Alexandre Bain is a man with a smile, a horse to roam the vineyards, and strong convictions. Since 2007 , he has cultivated them consistently and is considered a pioneer, a visionary in Pouilly-Fumé , even without the appellation.

Alexandre's recipe remains the same; over the years, it has been refined and precise, and his wines are all the more exciting for it.

In Tracy-sur-Loire , he looks after his 11 hectares of vines using biodynamic methods: chemicals are banned, replaced by herbal teas and soil work done entirely with horses.

The Alexandre Bain style is about seeking perfect ripeness in Sauvignon Blanc , lots of patience and observation, and very long aging – until the wine is ready.

Alexandre Bain's wines call for moments of gastronomy and conviviality, capable of enhancing noble fish, poultry or spicy dishes — or simply slipping alongside some goat cheeses.
