Champagne Aurélien Lemaire

In Boursault , Marne Valley, Aurélien is part of this generation of young Champagne winemakers who are giving new impetus to a region that we thought we knew everything about.
In 2016, Aurélien returned to the family estate, before taking over the reins of the six hectares in 2019. From the outset, he applied his low-intervention practices to two plots of the estate. Now, his vines will be nourished with green manure, the soils worked gently, and biodiversity will find a home again thanks to agroforestry.
Indigenous yeasts take care of the winemaking process, Aurélien oversees the barrel aging, his innovative spirit leads him to experiment with a Georgian Qveri buried near his cellar, the revolution is underway!
All this attention and effort benefits the taste qualities of its wines, which are representative of their terroirs; they are frank, pure, and complex with opening.
