Collection: Chandon de Briailles

Located in the heart of the Côte de Beaune and spread across three villages renowned for their wine, Savigny-Lès-Beaune, Pernand-Vergelesses and Aloxe-Corton, the estate was bought in 1834 by Countess Chandon de Briailles who, as her name suggests, was related to the famous champagne house Moët and Chandon.
Since then, it has belonged to the same family, distinguished by converting its entire vineyard to biodynamic farming and by its aging methods using a low proportion of new oak. Count and Countess Aymard-Claude de Nicolaÿ and their children are the current owners. Since 2001, Claude and François have jointly managed the estate, Claude with his oenological training and François focusing more on vineyard work and marketing.
The wines are crafted using entirely natural methods; no sulfur is used in the vineyards, and only homeopathic doses are administered in the winery, depending on the vintage. Vinification is carried out by gravity, with daily pump-overs and manual punch-downs, followed by aging in oak barrels. The resulting wines are dazzling, profound, complex, and remarkably refined, with a pure and seductive character and a silky mouthfeel. They faithfully reflect the specific characteristics of each terroir and each vintage.
