Collection: François Rousset Martin

FRM left his native Burgundy to become a winemaker in the Jura in 2007. The 10 hectares of vines on his estate are divided between Château Chalon and Côtes du Jura.

François is one of the most talented winemakers in the Jura. At the peak of his craft, he reaps the rewards of years of observation and patience. His Savagnin wines share a common thread: their captivating aromatic complexity , their purity, and their saline finish that provides great freshness.

Precise and meticulous, François respects the identity of each of the plots spread across the mythical terroir of Château Chalon . His Burgundian roots influence his methods when aging his wines, which are mostly done in topped-up barrels without veil.

Its production is composed of 90% white wines, 75% Savagnin and 25% Chardonnay. The reds are divided between Pinot Noir and Poulsard.
