Collection: Thibaud Capellaro

Thibaud does not come from a family of winemakers.
Making wine was a deliberate choice, built step by step, after experiences in France and abroad. A choice guided by working with grapes, a taste for what is right, and a clear attraction to the slopes of the northern Rhône.

Established since 2018 , he is developing two complementary projects.
On one side, Slope , his trading business, which allows him to work with carefully selected organic grapes in Ardèche, the Coteaux du Lyonnais, Roussillon or even Italy.
On the other hand, there is his estate , with his own vineyards, notably in Côte-Rôtie , whose first vintage was released in 2020 .

Thibaud chose these vines on demanding hillsides. He recreated terraces, brought forgotten plots back into cultivation, and embarked on a long, physical, and patient process. A project built over time, without haste.

In the cellar, the line is clear: intervene as little as possible .
Native yeasts, no artifice, no makeup. Aging methods are adapted to the wines, not the other way around: amphorae, old barrels, concrete or stainless steel tanks. Each vintage finds its own expression.

What we love about Thibaud's wines is that very clear sensation of tasting the grape. Wines of juice, energy, and texture. Wines that are clear, vibrant, and free from stylistic affectation.
