In Pupillin, the geology diverges.

Where the Jura mostly rests on Jurassic grey marl, faults here have brought older marl to the surface.

Triassic. Iridescent with grey, green, and pink: they cover nearly 60% of the village.

They characterize the wines, and make Pupillin the land of Ploussard.

The Benoît family has cultivated vines for four generations. For a long time, the grapes went to the cooperative. In 2003, Denis Benoît changed course.
He started making wine. He founded Cellier Saint Benoît in the family farmhouse.

Benjamin took over in 2019, at 23 years old, after the sudden death of his father. Trained in Beaune, he worked at Charles Lachaux, Nicolas Faure, Amélie Berthaut.

First vintage in 2020. Immediately, a signature.

Just 6.25 hectares, with the five Jura grape varieties.
