Collection: The Free Bubble

We've all been waiting for this moment: Romain's full takeover of the Hénin family estate, along with his brother Thomas and their right-hand man Vincent . The three of them have embarked on the Bulle Libre adventure, with the sole objective of delighting us with completely natural champagnes .

This quest could not have begun better than with the aptly named, L'Odyssée Pétillante . This cuvée is a blend of the 2022 vintage from Pinot Meunier (50%), Pinot Noir (40%) and Chardonnay (10%) grapes from the different parcels of the estate which covers 6.5 hectares spread around Aÿ-en-Champagne .

Family History. As you know, we've followed Romain since his beginnings; his very first Gamin du Terroir from the 2018 vintage was a revelation from the first glass tasted. Since then, we've presented all the cuvées created in collaboration with his father, Pascal , from L' Appel de la Forêt (2015) to L' Etang de nos Souvenirs (2021), including Blanc comme Neige (2017).

The Human . Romain & Thomas both have this unique sincere and spontaneous joviality , this need and desire to respect nature in the exercise of their profession, with the sole truth that a champagne without any inputs offers unparalleled pleasure and magic in the glass.

The Sparkling Odyssey, Chapter I. We love it, again and again: its frank and assertive vinosity, all the little red fruits that explode on the palate, its delightful freshness, it's hard not to come back for more, one bottle is too short!
