Collection: Terres d'Imaginaire

In 2022, Mathilde Magne settled in Rochefort-sur-Loire, in the heart of the "black Anjou", a schist landscape where Chenin has long found one of its most unique expressions.

With a background as an agricultural engineer and oenologist, she developed her perspective through experiences in Bordeaux, Tuscany, and Burgundy, notably with Sylvain Pataille. These diverse regions fostered a shared conviction: wine is not solely made in the cellar, but primarily in understanding living organisms.

Terres d'Imaginaire is born from this encounter between technical rigor and freedom of interpretation. The land as an anchor. Imagination as a space for exploration.

From its inception, the vineyard has been managed using organic farming practices. The soils are gently worked, and natural balances preserved, allowing each parcel to express its unique personality. In the cellar, fermentations occur thanks to indigenous yeasts, interventions are intentionally limited, and aging alternates between tanks and barrels depending on the needs of each wine.

The resulting wines favor precision over effect. Living materials, carried by the energy of the Anjou terroirs, where freshness, tension, and texture always take precedence over demonstration.
