Certainly the most moving part of the work of Raj and his friend Abe Schoener: saving century-old vineyards in Cucamonga and Temecula, planted at the beginning of the 20th century, ungrafted, on granite sands, without irrigation, without treatments, practically left to nature for 100 years.

These vines carry a rare, raw, luminous history.

The wines are straightforward, unadorned, sulfur-free: light reds despite the heat, saline whites from forgotten grape varieties.
