Her Apinost vintage thrilled us last year. Icy returns this year with an expanded range! She is a testament to the fact that no path is predetermined. Our intuitions and passions are powerful guides, provided we act on them. After Taipei and New York, Icy settled in Burgundy in 2018, deeply inspired by Chanterêves and Claire Naudin. Her initial inspiration came when her friend Bastien Wolber offered her Gamay grapes from one of his old vineyard plots.
The rest is revealed through tasting. The silky texture, the brilliance, the energy, the depth, the finesse and the elegance of its wines seduce us, and make Icy, in our opinion, one of the benchmarks of the region that must be tasted.
For this 2023 vintage, Icy delights us with the arrival of a Fleurie, with two very vibrant Pinot Noir cuvées.
