Collection: The God Wood

Le Bois Dieu is a locality situated in the Brionnais region, in southern Burgundy. In the 19th century, this area was home to a thriving vineyard that stretched over nearly 4,000 hectares, but its vines were decimated by phylloxera. Today, new winemakers are settling there.

When Salma Kassam and Frédéric Thiry fell in love at first sight, Le Bois Dieu was a farm with a few acres of old vines. Suddenly, Frédéric's Burgundian roots were rekindled, as were his many conversations with a certain Pierre Overnoy.

Self-taught and passionate, Salma and Frédéric craft wines that reflect their own character, authentically expressing the grape variety and terroir, without any artifice. This extends even to their bottles, which clearly convey the deliciousness of their wines.
