Collection: The Terrible Children
Les Enfants Terribles , a winery launched in 2020 by a young couple who dream of settling near their roots in Haute-Marne. In the meantime, Sarah and Jean are making their first wines in Alsace . They know this region and its grape varieties very well, as Jean works at Domaine Marcel Deiss . Sarah and Jean dedicate their free time to Les Enfants Terribles . Their guiding principle is to create exclusive, high-end wines. In their first vintage, they produced three wines under the name Chapitre I, including Sursaut d'Espoir, which we absolutely loved.
For their Chapter II , we selected Caresses de Sultan , a maceration of Auxerrois grapes grown on granite soil. Caresses de Sultan is not a typical Alsatian maceration; its finesse and complexity are best enjoyed on their own or paired with fine foods.
