Nada Vandal Wine is the wine merchant business that Raphaël Baïssas de Chastenet (Domaine Nada) created with Oscar Mancillas . Raphaël's life was urban for a time, until he took over the family's 7-hectare estate in Calce, near Perpignan, in 2014. From the very beginning, his wines are natural, a process carried out without any chemicals, and with an excessive dose of madness and energy.
His meeting and Oscar 's arrival coincided with a quantum leap in the precision of the wines. Oscar is originally from Mexico City and makes wines for various estates around the world.
Together, they conceived the CR cuvée, made from a white grape variety, Macabeu, and aged on the pomace of a red grape variety, Syrah. The result is surprising, neither truly white nor truly red, a delightful little wine that can be enjoyed in a flash, between courses, or as an aperitif.
