Collection: Tailors and Gatherers

Since meeting in 2018 during the grape harvest at Bruno Schueller's in Alsace, Chloé Bey and Jordan D'Osualdo have enriched their experience by working for many estates, their thinking about wine has matured, from the vine to the cellar.
Their vision of " Tailor-Gatherers " is based on the principle of non-intervention and natural agriculture . Trees and plants reclaim their place as companions to the vine, in harmony. Pruning is a crucial step to avoid wounds and respect the flow of sap. The soil is not plowed; using a small tracked vehicle, they roll down weeds after they have gone to seed.
Chloé and Jordan planted 21 fruit trees in 2022, and they plan to continue planting each year, varying the species. To help re-establish a complete ecosystem, perches and nesting boxes have been installed to provide shelter for birds of prey and other birds.
Chloé and Jordan have vineyards spread across three sectors, each with its own distinct terroir. Their work is meticulous, paying attention to every detail: the bottles are waxed with beeswax, and the creation of their labels was entrusted to an artist sensitive to the world of plants.
Tailleurs Cueilleurs is not just about wine; it's about embracing the transition to a wine industry that respects all living things. We are delighted to present their first vintage, featuring three unique wines in extremely limited quantities and with a focus on energy.
