Amethyste 2020

Améthyste 2020 is a great mountain wine, where Alpine freshness meets the depth of old Savoyard grape varieties.

A blend of Persan and Mondeuse Noire, this cuvée is born on the steep slopes of Cevins, whose schists impart a remarkable mineral intensity to the wine. The 2020 vintage offers a generous body, perfectly balanced by the altitude and the thermal amplitude that preserve all the freshness of the fruit.

The nose progressively reveals notes of wild blackberry, blackcurrant, black pepper, violet, and mountain herbs. On the palate, Améthyste impresses with its mouthfeel: the tannins are remarkably fine, almost velvety, while the body gains depth without ever losing its tension. The long, vibrant finish allows the schists to express themselves in a saline and spicy sensation that characterizes the domain's greatest wines.
