Côte de Feule is one of Pupillin’s most emblematic slopes. Facing due south at around 390 metres above sea level, this former quarry face gives rise to a Ploussard that already ranks among the most compelling expressions of the variety in the Jura.
Benjamin Benoît offers a remarkably refined interpretation, built more around texture, energy and movement than sheer power.
The nose opens with redcurrant, fresh raspberry and red berries, followed by notes of warm stone and a subtle smoky nuance.
The palate is airy and finely structured around a mineral backbone that brings depth and precision. A beautifully balanced Ploussard whose freshness and length make it a particularly accomplished expression of this Pupillin terroir.
