In Tracy-sur-Loire, Terre d’Obus comes from soils of clay, sand and silt over limestone. Here, Alexandre Bain seeks generous ripeness in Sauvignon Blanc, without ever losing sight of the wine’s balance.

The 2023 vintage charms with its vibrant fruit and gentle texture. The nose opens with fresh grapes and floral notes, while the palate unfolds with a supple, almost caressing texture, woven with hints of yellow fruit.

Richness never comes at the expense of movement. The wine retains a beautiful energy and stretches into a bright, lingering finish, where freshness carries the ripeness of the fruit even further.

Terre d’Obus offers a particularly approachable and inviting expression of Alexandre Bain’s Sauvignon Blanc, without sacrificing the depth that defines his wines. A white to share over fish with beurre blanc, roast poultry or aged goat’s cheese.
