Les Baraques 2020

Savagnin is one of the great interpreters of the Jura terroirs. With La Barraque 2020, Anne and Jean-François Ganevat offer a luminous, taut, and deeply vibrant rendition.

Made from grapes selected with the same high standards as those of the estate, this cuvée is aged to preserve all the purity of the fruit and the expression of the terroir. Far from demonstrative profiles, the wine favors balance, precision, and energy.

The nose opens with ripe citrus, white flowers, fresh herbs, and a delicate hint of almond. The palate is full-bodied without being heavy, supported by a silky texture and a mineral tension that stretches the wine to a long, saline, and delicately spicy finish.

A gastronomic Savagnin, capable of accompanying river fish, shellfish, creamed poultry, as well as great Jura cheeses. Accessible today after a slight aeration, it will gain further complexity over the years.
