Hautes Côtes de Nuits 2024 (R)

The Hautes-Côtes de Nuits region is changing. Long considered the discreet counterpart to the Côte de Nuits, it is now revealing its full potential, driven by a new generation of winemakers who are fully exploiting the freshness and diversity of its soils.

Julie and Jérémy Recchione offer a particularly accurate interpretation. Extractions are gentle, and the aging process supports the wine without masking its identity, allowing the Pinot Noir to express all the finesse of its fruit.

The nose opens with sour cherry, fresh raspberry, and hints of dried rose, lifted by a touch of sweet spices. On the palate, the texture remains supple and elegant, carried by a beautiful energy. The tannins are fine, almost powdery, while a subtle chalky undertone provides length and precision.

A luminous, delicate, and deeply digestible Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, which reminds us how this appellation is today one of the most exciting territories of contemporary Burgundy.
