Interlude is Domaine Vincey's creative interlude.
Each edition offers Marine and Quentin the opportunity to explore a new idea, question their practices, and further refine their interpretation of the terroir.
This fourth edition comes from the parcel Les Vignes de Germinon, planted in 1964 with massal selection of Chardonnay on the Grand Cru of Chouilly. For this vintage, the choice of drawing on must was naturally imposed, extending the quest for an ever more faithful expression of the grape.
The nose blends citrus, white fruits, dried flowers, and a delicate chalky thread that gradually asserts itself with aeration.
On the palate, the wine stands out for its energy and precision. The body remains slender, driven by a saline tension and a persistent finish that highlights all the purity of the terroir.
A confidential cuvée where experimentation fades behind the obvious quality of the wine.
