La Plage Abandonnée is undoubtedly the most spontaneous cuvée of the estate. Behind its evocative name lies a true Savennières, where Ludovic Payen seeks less a display of power than the precision of the fruit and the expression of the terroir.
The 2024 vintage offers a luminous, immediately accessible Chenin, supported by a supple texture and a saline energy characteristic of the great soils of Anjou Noir. Notes of citrus, fresh pear, and white flowers are accompanied by a subtle stony touch that brings relief and depth.
A Savennières free in its approach, deliciously rich without excess, whose freshness and precision naturally invite you to return to the glass.
