Mes Six Terroirs 2021

Mes Six Terroirs was born from an extraordinary vintage.

The 2021 frost significantly reduced yields. Rather than vinifying each of his parcels separately, François Rousset-Martin chose to combine them into a single cuvée. Six locations, six expressions of Chardonnay, brought together not to erase their differences, but to create a faithful portrait of the estate.

The wine possesses a rare clarity. Citrus, white flowers, yellow-fleshed fruits, and a delicate hazelnut note follow one another naturally, in a texture of great purity. Then the palate gradually tightens. Acidity takes over, elongating the wine and giving it the remarkable straightness that defines François Rousset-Martin's great Chardonnays.

Mes Six Terroirs doesn't tell the story of a place. It tells the story of an estate. A cuvée born out of constraint, it has become one of the most comprehensive interpretations of François Rousset-Martin's work.
